Since December 2017, FMCSA regulations have imposed ELD installation in commercial motor vehicles.  While this technology has been around for a number of years.  The true test of this regulation starts over the weekend.  Beginning on April 1st, the enforcement and impact of this becomes real.  Fines & Out of Service (OOS) orders will be enforced and levied.  For many years we have embraced the technology and used the devices, in the AOBRD form to remain within the limits of the law.  Now becomes the test and those who have not taken this seriously will pay the consequences.
